On Site Car Parking

There are a limited number of tickets available and currently on sale to access the on-site car parking There is no on-street or additional parking at the venue.

For visitors travelling by car, there will be temporary road changes and routes to the venue to minimise road disruption. Please follow all local signage to the venue and do not follow sat nav guidance.

For visitors with pre purchased parking for the car park travelling from the south will be signposted off the A9 Northbound at Greenloaning onto the A822, then again onto the A823 at its junction. Visitors travelling from the north will be directed towards Crieff via the A85 to then join the A822 leading to A823 and then the venue.


Park & Ride

A Park & Ride service to Gleneagles will be in operation from two sites with the aim of limiting the impact on local communities and local road networks and helping offer quick and convenient way for attendees of the Solheim Cup to get to the action. Details on the Park and Ride sites are below.


McDiarmid Park, Crieff Road – Perth

The North Park and Ride facility is located on the Crieff Road in Perth near to the A9 and is the property of St Johnstone FC. It is often referred to as “McDiarmid Park”. Please follow local signs to McDiarmid Park and do not follow sat nav guidance due to temporary road changes made for Solheim.




If you wish to arrive by train, Gleneagles has its own Station. You can book train tickets via ScotRail’s website. It takes approx. 90 minutes to get to Gleneagles from Edinburgh (Waverley) and approx. 50 minutes from Glasgow. At the moment you can only book three months in advance, but we are working to make tickets during the week of the event available sooner. If you wish to be notified when rail tickets are available please sign up to the mailing list or tick the further information box when purchasing tickets.



Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are both less than 50 miles, or an hour’s drive away. Arrangements can also be made to land helicopters at the hotel.


Active Travel

Cycle storage facilities will be available at each of the park and ride sites and the venue public car park.


Castleview – Stirling

The South Park and Ride facility is located on the Millennium Way (A84) near to Junction 10 of the A9 and is the property of Falleninch Farm, it is often referred to as “Castleview”. The bus shuttle service will run from the adjacent Stirling Council Park and Ride facility. Please follow local signs and do not follow sat nav guidance due to temporary road changes made for Solheim.
